Agile in Leeds is a monthly meetup for people in the Leeds area who are interested in Agile, Lean, users and teams.
We provide an event for people to learn new ideas and space to meet new people. We give everyone the opportunity to contribute by keeping talks short (30mins maximum), hosting interactive workshops, encouraging participation and having enough time for people to socialise.
People new to public speaking are welcomed and we can work with you to create a short talk, interactive session or Q&A. The audience is friendly and engaged, so it’s a great place to discuss your ideas. If you’d like to chat more about options (with no pressure to do anything), please get in touch.
If you know someone who you think would be an amazing speaker, use this service to let us (and them) know.
We manage invites on meetup.com, for details of our next meetup, please head on over there.
Previous speakers include Emily Webber, Stephen Mounsey, Tom Morgan, Edafe Onerhime, Louise Elliott, Woody Zuill and Clare Ashcroft.
What people are saying about us:
Really brilliant evening, Claire’s session was insightful; l was amazed just how much of her concept she could clearly communicate in what felt like a very short time! – John
Thanks to Stephen for an awesome, thought provoking presentation. I will definitely be thinking more about how to use badges to promote cross-pollination over standardisation.
And thanks to Emily for making the meetup happen. Lots of interesting conversations before and after the presentation.” Matt E
Woody’s engaging, gives a good serotonin fix (we laughed a lot), and deals primarily in how humanity makes making code easier – Russel G
